We have to find the solution (x, y)

Substitute eqn 2 in eqn 1

[tex]x^2 = -3 + 4\\\\x^2 = 1\\\\Take\ square\ root\ on\ both\ sides\\\\x = \pm 1[/tex]

Thus, we get,

x = 1

x = -1

Thus the solution is (1, -3) or (-1, -3)
