To convert this equation into slope-intercept form we have to isolate y. Subtracting 3x at both sides of the equation:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 3x-2y-3x=-16-3x \\ -2y=-3x-16 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Dividing by -2 at both sides of the equation:
