Your garden is in the shape of a trapezoid. The width is 2 feet. The parallel bases are 4 feet and 6 feet. What is the area of your garden?

Given:
Width = 2 ft
Parallel bases: 4 ft and 6 ft.

The area is (1/2)(Sum of the bases) x Width.
Therefore the area is
A = (1/2)*(4 + 6)*2
   = (1/2)*10*2
   = 10 ft²

Answer: 10 ft²
