Kush’s location was ideal for trade. The Nile River contributed a route to Egypt and ports of the Mediterranean Sea at north. Kush Kingdom had access to the Red Sea in the east, opening up trade to the Arabian peninsula. In the west there was desert, so they did not have trade there.
