A Ramjet engine is a type of jet engine. There are four kinds of jet engines: Rocket Jet, Ramjet, Pulsejet, and Turbine Jet.
By definition, a Ramjet engine is a type of jet engine in which the air drawn in for combustion is compressed solely by the forward motion of the aircraft.
