Usually one ton is 2000 lbs so you want to multiply 2000 w/ 7
2000*7= 14000
You then add the 500 lbs to the 14000...
14000+5000= 14,500
getting you 14,500 lbs.

P.S. 4 lbs is less then 74 ounces because 1 oz. is 16 lbs. and if you multiply 4 w/ 16 you get 64 oz.
